Easy and very helpful!, April 22, 2009 by Linda Näsvall Visit Date:April 11, 2009 "Absolutely fantastic, would like to go back NOW!" |
Everything went well we just give the voucher and that was done! I will book again through this site as it is one of the cheapest one... I was scare to get the less good room but it was not the case we had what we requested ie upper room non smoking not to far from reception., April 15, 2009 by jean-philippe beaumont Visit Date:March 31, 2009 "Fantastic. everything was perfect. Food at the hotel is very good and not so expensive compare to what other were saying on the different forum. Of course if you want to pay 3 USD for your meal do not go there but otherwise very reasonable." |
very good, March 25, 2009 by Webster Visit Date:February 18, 2009 "beautifull hotel, great service ,special place to visit, but very expensive. for Thiland" |
efficient as usual, February 24, 2009 by Berggren Visit Date:February 1, 2009 "We stayed 5 nights at Pimalai in deluxe room which was comfortable but furniture was somewhat outdated. Not much of a cosiness factor around the hotel - this is a big complex and you are transported from one end to the other by a golf car (if you are too lazy to walk uphill).Breakfast is really good, service as well (professional but not very personal). There are a few restaurants in the complex with different food concepts - great if you want to vary thai food with fries or pasta. Also at European prices. We ate mostly at the local places around the hotel, offering 5 times cheaper good thai food. A restaurant called Same same but different at the local beach offers the best food on Kantiang Beach. The hotel pool situated high up on the hill is very nice and offers a splendind view. Overall, a nice hotel, but a bit overpriced in terms of room design -I´ve been to better 4 star hotels. This is however compensated by professional service and good range of hotel amenities." |
Good service. Everything worked. I was surprised/disappointed that full payment was due in advance., November 5, 2008 by Josef Kewekordes Visit Date:October 25, 2008 "Beautiful hotel and exceptional staff. Wonderful experience. Good food and selection. Nice activities. All great except room smelled a little moldy. Housekeeping sprayed, but smell never went away. We borrowed an essential oil burner from the spa and it helped a lot. Some noise from longtails and little hotel trucks, but generally very quiet. Great diving." |
A bit cumbersome and the no change no refund is annoying., August 28, 2008 by Tal Visit Date:August 7, 2008 "The hotel was very nice; we insisted and were moved to a private villa. The hotel in general could use some updating and the beach was on the dirtier side. The transfer at $50US per person was a bit of a rip-off. Besides all that, nice place." |

Excellent, May 17, 2008 by Hilary & Val - Australia Visit Date:April 21, 2008 "Pimalai is a beautiful Resort built over a hillside. The accommodation is spacious and clean. It has a nice clean beach ideal for swimming. Their Seven Seas Restaurant is by far their best by way of the setting and table arrangements, service and the food is exquisite. The prices are what one would expect to pay at a 5 Star resort. There are insects that crawl out at night due to its location and we have to expect it. Whilst the staff have a poor command of English, they are very pleasant and ever willing to help and provide service. We stayed 8 nights and looking back, have no regrets at all. " |
January 27, 2008 by Bruce McNaught Visit Date:January 11, 2008 "Probably the best hotel I have stayed at. Wonderful architecture and landscaping. Great location and beach facing exactly west so you can watch the sunset over Koh Ha. Close to the good Thai dive sites so you can complete the first dive before anybody else arrives.Would highly recommend." |
